Learn more about our training program for work-study program mentors

Training to become a mentor for work-study students (under an apprenticeship and/or professional training contract) enables you to provide the best possible support to your new hires at your company.

As part of this training program, you will learn about the challenges of work-study programs, the role of the mentor, the mentee’s development within the company and at school, the various stages of mentoring, and the transfer of knowledge, skills, and interpersonal skills.

Designed by our development teams, this training program is tailored to your needs in terms of format (in-person and/or online, small groups, modular structure) and the customization of case studies based on your experiences.


Clearly Defined Objectives

  1. Placing the role of tutor within its context
  2. Identify the tutor's key skills and define their role and responsibilities
  3. Support the mentee and maintain the right attitude throughout the process
  4. Assessing to Support Progress

A 2.5-day micro-certification course

The “Serving as a Mentor to Work-Study Students” micro-certification consists of 17 hours of training spread over 2.5 days.

Each day of training focuses on a different, fundamental aspect of the role of a work-study mentor:

DAY 1: Thursday, September 24, 2026

Mentoring in the Workplace and at Training Centers (key players, their roles, the challenges and responsibilities of the trainee, communication with the mentor, etc.)

DAY 2: Friday, September 25, 2026

Sharing experiences and peer-to-peer exchanges (group workshops, monitoring tools, etc.)

DAY 3: Friday, December 4, 2026

Feedback and Evaluations (Multiple Perspectives, Focus on the Mentee’s Evaluation and Summary)
