Validation of prior learning
Validation of acquired skills is broken down into 3 separate systems:
VALIDATION OF ACQUIRED EXPERIENCE ( VAE)
Consists of obtaining professional certification (diploma, professional title or professional qualification certificate) by highlighting one's professional experience.
You do not take any courses , but you prepare a Booklet II setting out your skills from your experience.
Example : Claire has 5 years of professional experience as a department manager, she can apply to obtain the Professional Management and Department Management License through VAE.
VALIDATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS ( VAPP)
Device which allows access to university training without having the diploma normally required.
Example : a person with a BAC+2 and significant professional experience can request a VAPP with a view to registering for a master's degree.
VALIDATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION (VES)
A system which allows you to obtain a diploma in part or in full thanks to the recognition of studies completed in France or abroad.
Example : Pascal holds several diplomas (DES TENNIS, PBJEPS, Physical Training Diploma) and wishes to obtain the Sports Training License.
