Short Course: How to effectively utilize digital pathology solutions?
The deployment ofdigital pathologyin laboratories streamlines and optimizes theprocess of slide readingbypathologists and facilitates collaborative work.
Beyond this advantage, digital pathology offers an expansion and diversification of analyses that pathologists and scientists cannot handle without tools.
Discover our two 10-hour short courses dedicated to digital pathology solutions:
- Image analysis
- Histological slide scanner

Objectives
Short Course Image Analysis Module
Image analysis appears to be thesolutionfor performing thesemultifactorial analyses. However, its use must be regulated and controlled in order to provide reliable and robust answers to biological and scientific questions.
The short training course dedicated to this module will enable you to acquire several key skills:
- Understanding the challenges of digital pathology through image analysis.
- Understand the principles and general functioning of image analysis software.
- Be aware of the constraints and limitations of using image analysis software.
- Run a workflow on an image analysis tool.
Short Training Course Module Histological Slide Scanner
The use ofbrightfield or fluorescence slide scannersoptimizes workflow and results quality, freeing upvaluabletimefor operators and scientists. However, installing and using these automated systems requiresspecific knowledge, which participants will acquire during this training course.
The short training course dedicated to this module will enable you to acquire several key skills:
- Understanding the challenges of digital pathology through slide scanning technology.
- Understand the general operation of brightfield and fluorescence slide scanners.
- Run a workflow on brightfield and fluorescence slide scanners
- Be aware of the constraints and limitations of using scanners.
Meeting with the expert
Manon Motte, an expert in Digital Pathology and Image Analysis for 14 years, leads these two short courses.
Having worked in dermatological research and then in the provision of services for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries and academic laboratories, Manon Motte shares her experience and knowledge with current and future players in the field of histology.
