Several training financing solutions are available to job seekers, depending on their situation and plans.

The Personal Training Account – CPF

Thepersonal training account (CPF) allows individuals to acquire training rights that can be used throughout their working life, from the moment they enter the labor market until they retire. It is universal in scope and is intended for all working people.  

Each person has a secure personal space on the official websitemoncompteformation.gouv.fr, allowing them to:

  • access information concerning them(for example: the credit in euros recorded on their account) 
  • obtain information on training courses that he can take advantage of through his Personal Training Account(training courses eligible for the Personal Training Account) 
  • to have a basic level of information about training funding 
  • Access digital services related to career guidance, such as the free career development advisor (CEP) service

The Professional Transition Project – PTP

The professional transition project is a specific way of using thePersonal Training Account, allowing employeeswho wish to change jobs or professions tofinance certified training courses related to their project. In this context, employees are entitled to leave and continued remuneration for the duration of the training course.

Regional funding: ForPro Sup

Discover our training offer funded by the Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée Region as part of the FORPRO SUP regional program.

Public

This training program is aimed at young and adult job seekers who have been out of school for more than 24 months and have not received training funded by the Region for at least one year.

A subsidy is applied to the cost of training by the Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region and higher education institutions. Trainees are asked to contribute depending on the level of training (on average between €90 and €250).

Each year, the range of courses on offer (from high school equivalent to Master's degree level) is tailored to developments in the region's job market in order to meet the specific demands of the business world.

Thus, all of the training courses funded by the Region as part of the FORPRO SUP regional program are professional university courses that directly meet the recruitment needs of employers in the Region.

Steps to take to benefit from it

  1. Contact your Pôle Emploi advisor to define your training plan. They must approve it and send you areferral.
  2. At the same time, you must apply for the training program and follow theselection procedure.

Compensation – Remuneration

  • If youare receiving Return to Work Assistance (ARE) benefits fromPôle emploi or your former public sector employer, you may be eligible for Return to Work Training Assistance (AREF) within the limits of your entitlement to benefits.
  • If you are not eligible for the Return to Work Assistance (ARE) allowance, you may, under certain conditions, receive public training compensation if it is approved by the Regional Council. Contact the training organization to find out the conditions and, if applicable, submit your application.

The professional training contract

An employment contract based on the principle ofwork-study, it allows beneficiaries to acquire a professional qualification or complete initial training with an additional qualification in order to access a specific position within the company.

Audiences

  • Young people aged 16 to 25 inclusive, in order to complete their initial training
  • Job seekers aged 26 and over
  • Recipients of active solidarity income (RSA), specific solidarity allowance (ASS), or adult disability allowance (AAH) 
  • People who have benefited from a subsidized contract (single integration contract – CUI)

Employers concerned

All private-sector employers subject to continuing professional training funding requirements, with the exception of the State, local authorities, and their public administrative institutions.

Public industrial and commercial establishments(e.g., RATP, URSSAF, Office National des Forêts) subject to continuing professional training funding and maritime shipping companies may enter into professional training contracts.

Steps for employers

  • Appoint a mentor within the company
  • Sign the training agreement with SFC-UM and CERFA EJ20 with the work-study student.
  • Send the funding application file to your OPCO no later than 5 days after the start date of the contract. The OPCO has 20 days to issue a compliance notice and decide on financial coverage, then send the contract in digital format to the DREETS (Regional Directorate for Employment, Training, and Skills) of the place where the contract was concluded. If no response is received within this period, the OPCO will cover the contract.
  • Submit a DUE form to URSSAF
    NB: For candidates who are not citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA), it is the employer's responsibility to verify the existence of supporting documents (residence permit, work permit) before the start of the work-study contract.
