Validation of Higher Education (VES)

Anyone who has completed higher education at a private or public training institution or organization in France or abroad.

All courses are open to VES, with the exception of doctorates and intermediate diplomas (Deug and Maîtrise).

File request

Send your file request by e-mail to the component concerned by your equivalence request.

• In the same calendar year, you can submit 3 VES applications for different diplomas, regardless of the establishment.
• You can only submitone application for the same diploma in the same calendar year.

File creation

Your file includes :

• Diplomas, certifications and training certificates
• Any other supporting documents enabling the jury to assess the nature and level of your studies

The component examines the admissibility of your application, examines it, organizes the jury and issues the diploma.

Interview with the validation panel

The component's validation jury examines your file and interviews you. It determines the knowledge and skills required for equivalence with the diploma in question.

The deliberation may give rise to either :

• to full validation
• partial validation
• to refusal

Recommendations and advice are given at the end of the interview.

Request validation

The component sends your file and the jury's decision to the Direction des Formations et Enseignements (DFE).

It sends you your notification, issues your certificate of achievement, and then your diploma if validation is complete.

If the validation is partial, it registers the validated Teaching Units.

200 € application fee, in addition to tuition fees.
Non-refundable, regardless of the jury's decision.
