Certification by the Pôle Mer Méditerranée of our aquaculture training courses

The aquaculture training courses offered by the Continuing Education Department at theUniversity of Montpellier have been awarded the "Pôle Mer Méditerranée" label.

This decision marks an important milestone and confirms the consistency of our training offering with the strategic orientations of the Cluster, which is committed to supporting innovation, the competitiveness of industries, and the transition to a sustainable blue economy.

Furthermore, this commitment is fully in line with regional and national efforts to consolidate efficient aquaculture that respects the environment and creates jobs and value.

The training courses covered by this certification

Two of our training courses have been certified:

• The Higher Technical Diploma in Aquaculture, Aquariology, and Aquaponics, which trains operational professionals capable of working across the entire production chain, from farm management to environmental parameter control;

• The animal testing technician training program aims to teach best practices in animal ethics and welfare, while developing the skills necessary to work with animals in accordance with current regulatory standards.
