Short Course: Vaccination Administered by Pharmacy Technicians
As pharmacies play an increasingly important role in prevention and public health, this short training course was designed by the Montpellier School of Pharmacy to enable pharmacy technicians to acquire the practical and theoretical skills needed to administer vaccines.

Target Skills
This short, practical training course will enable pharmacy technicians to:
- to learn how to administer a vaccine,
- to manage side effects,
- to improve knowledge about vaccines and communication with patients.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to contribute effectively to vaccination campaigns, safely and in compliance with the legal framework.
This skills development is part of an effort to enhance the status of the profession and meet the growing need for community-based healthcare.
