The Faculty of Sciences at theUniversity of Montpellier has designed a new short course entitled "Introduction to monitoring plant communities", mainly open to continuing education students.
This short course on monitoring plant communities is designed for anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of ecology and ecosystem management.

GOALS
This course is designed to introduce participants to the methodologies used to monitor plant communities. It offers an integrated approach combining theoretical instruction, field work and data analysis. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on ecological management issues, while developing practical and analytical skills.
Training sessions
The "Introduction to plant community monitoring" short course lasts 21 hours over 3 days and includes :
- 7h classroom (theory)
- 7 a.m. in the field on the Plateau du Larzac
- 7h data analysis
A training session is planned for the current year:
- June 16, 17 and 18, 2025
