Certification

National PIX certification (CPF eligible)

Pix certification is a national certification recognized by the French government.

The aim: to help raise the general level of digital knowledge and skills with a view to the digital transformation of our entire society and economy. The PIX certification attests to your level of mastery of the digital world and its uses.

Dates: September to December 2025
Official dates to be announced.
Volume: 32 hours (general certification)
Format: Classroom and distance learning

Home automation: KNX-certified installer

Based on a hands-on approach (60% of the training time is devoted to practical work) in a small group (maximum 12 participants), this course provides the first level of qualification for KNX Partner certification.

The content of the Home Automation Short Course meets the specifications of the KNX International organization. By following this course, you will be registered as a partner in the international database of the Brussels-based KNX Association.

Session dates (5 days): July 7 to 11, 2025

Short courses

DRX: Characterization of solids by X-ray powder diffraction

Would you like to acquire expertise in X-ray powder diffraction?

We offer 3 courses for 3 levels of training:

  • Beginner level: fundamental and technical aspects of X-ray powder diffraction and compound identification.
  • Intermediate level: fundamental aspects and techniques for extracting structural parameters.
  • Advanced level: structural determination and application to different types of solids (organic, inorganic and hybrid).

The solutions studied during practical experimentation can be derived from concrete cases proposed by trainees prior to training.

Dates : 3 training sessions are scheduled for the current year:

  • April 8, 9 and 10, 2025
  • May 5, 6 and 7, 2025
  • Week of June 16, 2025

Volume : 15 hours of training divided into 2 days per level

Training days on confocal raman microscopy for biology

Raman spectroscopy is a non-invasive, label-free technique that provides chemical information on samples. Applications have existed for several decades in many areas of biology (cells, tissues, organoids, etc.).

The reconstruction of chemical maps enables us to better understand the composition and structure of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids and nucleic acids, and their variation in space and time. It is widely used in cell biology and cancer research.

Introduction to Brillouin Spectroscopy

Brillouin spectroscopy is an all-optical, non-contact technique for obtaining information about the mechanical properties of matter. It is rapidly gaining ground in the field of biology, thanks in part to the emergence of a new optical component (VIPA). Combined with a confocal microscope, a VIPA-based spectrograph enables rapid acquisition of a spectrum, opening the door to Brillouin imaging of various biological samples.

The aim of this short course is simple: to present the theoretical, technical and practical aspects of Brillouin spectroscopy.

At the end of the course, participants will leave with a clear idea of the possibilities available and the techniques to be used to design an instrument adapted to their needs.

Polymers: Thermal, mechanical and rheological characterization of polymer materials

During the "Polymers" Short Course, you will first learn about polymer materials in the solid state, then carry out and interpret mechanical and thermal tests to characterize polymers.

The courses in this programme are designed to provide skills in the thermomechanical analysis of polymers:

  • DSC and ATG measurement of characteristic temperatures (Tg, Tf, Tc, Td)
  • Measuring mechanical properties: tensile tests
  • Measurement of thermomechanical properties by DMA and rheometer
