Audiovisual professions
TheBéziers IUT has developed four University Diplomas dedicated to the audiovisual professions.
Combining theory and practice, these courses will enable you to acquire or deepen specific skills in image control, visual post-production, sound management and audiovisual creation in its global and collective aspects.
These University Diplomas are aimed both at people wishing to train in the technical professions of the film and audiovisual industries (cameraman, director of photography, assistant director, sound engineer, editor, etc.), and at communications professionals wishing to acquire key skills directly applicable to their jobs.
Training sessions are scheduled between May and August 2025.

Mastering images in cinema and audiovisual media
Target audience: People with an awareness of the audiovisual sector, with basic knowledge of framing and the use of lenses.
Objectives: Deepen your knowledge of shooting for the creation of audiovisual media. At the end of this course, you'll master framing, composition, lighting, camera movements and the enhancement of animated or inanimate subjects, for a variety of projects such as music videos, commercials or interviews.
Post-Production for Film and Audiovisual
Target audience: People with an interest in the audiovisual sector, with knowledge of postproduction, particularly editing and color grading.
Objectives: Deepen your understanding of post-production techniques and tools. This course will enable you to acquire advanced knowledge of video editing and effects, get to grips with DaVinci Resolve software, and master colorimetry and color grading tools.
Sound for Film and Audiovisual
Target audience: People with an interest in the audiovisual sector, with basic knowledge of sound for images.
Objectives: Deepen mastery of sound hardware and software for images, ensure sound recording on different types of audiovisual productions, perfect sound processing and mixing to guarantee professional quality.
Audiovisual Creation
Target audience: Individuals wishing to experience the complete pre-production, production and post-production of a video clip or short fiction film.
Aims: To provide in-depth practical training and comprehensive shooting experience. You will learn about pre-production (storyboarding, preparatory art direction, permissions and shooting documents, control room and logistics). You'll practice directing, photo directing and/or sound recording, depending on your choice. You'll manage post-production (editing, color grading, sound mixing).
