Discover our training programs funded by the Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region as part of the FORPRO SUP* regional program.

The number of spots funded byForPro Sup Région Occitanieis limited.These spots will be allocated subject to eligibility(as determined by your France Travail, MLJ, CAP EMPLOI, or other advisor) and in the order in which complete applications are received. If the quota is exceeded, other applicants will be placed on a waiting list or may be accepted with a different type of funding.

*This program does not confer any automatic right to funding. The organization reserves the right to refuse to award a funded spot if the requirements are not met or if the quota has been reached.

Public

This training program is intended for young and adult job seekers who have been out of the school system for more than 24 months and have not participated in any training funded by the Region for at least one year.

A subsidy is provided by the Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region and higher education institutions to cover the cost of the training. Trainees are required to pay a fee based on the level of training (ranging on average from €90 to €250).

Pros

Each year, the curriculum (from the equivalent of the BAC to the Master 2) is designed in response to changes in the region’s job market in order to meet the specific needs of the business community.

Thus, all of the training programs funded by the Region under the FORPRO SUP regional program are professional university-level programs that directly address the hiring needs of employers in the Region.

Steps to Qualify

  1. Contact your Pôle Emploi advisor to discuss your training plan. The advisor must approve it and issue you a referral.
  2. At the same time, you must apply for the training program and go through the selection process.

Compensation – Remuneration

  • If you are receiving the Return to Work Assistance (ARE) benefit from Pôle Emploi or your former public-sector employer, you may be eligible to receive the Return to Work Training Assistance (AREF) up to the limit of your benefit entitlement.
  • If you are not receiving the Return to Work Assistance (ARE) allowance, you may, under certain conditions, be eligible for public training compensation if the training program is approved by the Regional Council. Contact the training organization to find out the eligibility requirements and, if applicable, to submit your application.
