Discover our training programs funded by the Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region as part of the FORPRO SUP regional program

Public

This training program is intended for young and adult job seekers who have been out of the school system for more than 24 months and have not participated in any training funded by the Region for at least one year.

The Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region and higher education institutions provide a subsidy toward the cost of the training. Trainees are required to pay a fee based on the level of training (ranging from €90 to €250 on average).

Training Program

The Pros

Each year, the curriculum (ranging from the equivalent of a high school diploma to a Master’s degree) is designed in response to changes in the regional job market to meet the specific needs of the business community.

Thus, all of the training programs funded by the Region under the FORPRO SUP regional program are professional university-level programs that directly address the hiring needs of employers in the Region.

How to qualify

  1. Contact your Pôle Emploi advisor to discuss your training plan. They must approve it and issue you a referral.
  2. At the same time, you must apply for the training program and go through the selection process.

Compensation – Remuneration

  • If you are receiving the Return to Work Allowance (ARE) from Pôle Emploi or your former public-sector employer, you may be eligible for the Return to Work Training Allowance (AREF) up to the limit of your entitlement to benefits.
  • If you are not eligible for the Return to Work Allowance (ARE), you may, under certain conditions, receive public training compensation if the program is approved by the Regional Council. Contact the training organization to find out the eligibility requirements and, if applicable, to submit your application.
