Océan Hackathon: creative competition around the sea and digital technology

The competition in a nutshell

Organized by the World Sea Campus, the Ocean Hackathon is an international competition involving Sète agglopôle méditerranée.

Over the course of a weekend (48h non-stop fromFriday November 5 (5pm) to Sunday November 7 (7pm) at the Station Méditerranéenne de l'Environnement Littoral (2 rue des Chantiers, Sète), digital data relating to the sea will be made available to teams, each of whom will have to respond to a challenge submitted in advance by a project leader.

The aim is tobring out technological innovations in the maritime field, which can be applied to improve an existing situation or give rise to a new concept. At the end of the weekend, one team will be chosen to take part in the international pitch competition. 13 of the 132 challenges selectedat international level are registered under the Sète agglopôle méditerranée banner.
