[Event] Visit by the Minister of Higher Education and Research
The SFC-UM is honored to present its training programs in Aquaculture, Aquaponics, and Aquariologyto Minister Sylvie Retailleau—Ministry of Higher Education and Research—along with a presentation of the University of Montpellier’s Mediterranean Coastal Environment Station in Sète and a spotlight on training and research activities and projects in the field.
This is an opportunity to meet students from Sète, many of whom are participating in the workshops organized by the Station Marine and Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée for the 31st edition of the Fête de la Science. The goal is to raise students’ awareness of the connections between land and sea within the water cycle and the impacts of climate change on that cycle. Numerous workshops organized by the Station Marine for schoolchildren, in which Minister Sylvie Retailleau is pleased to participate.
It is also an opportunity to visit the aquaculture, aquabiology, and aquaponics research facility, which is open to students enrolled in the University Diploma (DU) programs in Aquaculture Technician and Aquaculture Project Manager, as well as the Master’s program in QSE Project Management in Aquaculture.
