Short Course on Brillouin Spectroscopy
Learn about Brillouin spectroscopy!
The Bioengineering and Nanosciences and Charles Coulomb laboratories atthe University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Department, have designed an exclusive short introductory course on Brillouin spectroscopy, to be held on April 1 and 2.

Brillouin spectroscopy, a contactless, all-optical technique, provides information about the mechanical properties of materials. It has been gaining momentum in the field of biology since the introduction of a new optical component: the VIPA.
The goal of this short course is simple: to introduce the theoretical, technical, and practical aspects of Brillouin spectroscopy.
By the end of this training, participants will have a clear understanding of the available options and the techniques needed to design a tool tailored to their specific needs.
Price: €350 per person
This short training course will take place on April 1 and 2, 2025.
