Short course on Brillouin spectroscopy
Get trained in Brillouin spectroscopy!
The Bioengineering and Nanosciences and Charles Coulomb laboratories atthe University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Department, have designed an exclusive short introductory course on Brillouin spectroscopy, to be held on April 1 and 2.

Brillouin spectroscopy is a completely optical, non-contact technique that provides information about the mechanical properties of matter. It has been rapidly gaining popularity in the field of biology since the advent of a new optical component: VIPA.
The objective of this short course is simple: to present the theoretical, technical, and practical aspects of Brillouin spectroscopy.
At the end of this training course, participants will leave with a clear idea of the possibilities available and the techniques to be implemented in order to design an instrument suited to their needs.
Price: €350 per person
This short training course will take place on April 1 and 2, 2025.
