Brillouin Spectroscopy Short Course
Learn about Brillouin spectroscopy!
The Bioengineering and Nanosciences and Charles Coulomb laboratories at theUniversity of Montpellier, in conjunction with the Continuing Education Department, have designed an exclusive short introductory course in Brillouin spectroscopy on April 1 and 2.

An all-optical, non-contact technique, Brillouin spectroscopy provides information about the mechanical properties of matter. It has been booming in the field of biology since the appearance of a new optical component: the VIPA.
The aim of this short course is simple: to present the theoretical, technical and practical aspects of Brillouin spectroscopy.
At the end of the course, participants will leave with a clear idea of the possibilities available and the techniques to be used to design an instrument adapted to their needs.
Price: €350 per person
This short course will take place on April 1 and 2, 2025.
